COLLAB Game

COLLAB encourages a playful reflection on different backgrounds in interdisciplinary teams in order to improve communication and collaboration.

Strength of the method
  • The tool focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration and communication and can be applied with little time expenses
  • The tool is visually appealing & playful: it encourages a playful reflection on different backgrounds in interdisciplinary teams
  • The tool has team building character: The tool uses questions that reveal work-related attitudes, motivations, aspirations and challenges of each team member.
To be considered
  • Not all questions are suitable for all kinds of groups. Consider removing or adding questions depending on the group. (Some of the questions may be considered to refer to private speres. Others are not that easy to respond to without preparation.)
  • The tool focuses on interdisciplinarity. You may think about additional questions for transdisciplinary settings (and please share them with us: td-methods@scnat.ch)
  • The fun character of the game should not distract form clarifying the purpose of playing the game and how a follow-up/debrief could look like.
