Information event: Implementation of the Nagoya protocol in the EU - implications for collections of genetic resources (in German)
At the Natural History Museum Bern, 11. July, 2017, 9:30 am, Seminar room, Dr. Elke Zippel (Botanischer Garten und Botanisches Museum Berlin-Dahlem) and Dr. Peter Giere (Museum für Naturkunde Berlin) will give talks on the subject "Implementation of the Nagoya protocol in the EU - implications for collections of genetic resources" (in German). Background is the registration of collections following the rules of the Swiss Nagoya Verordnung. Museum collections are users of genetic resources but also responsible for the acquisition, storage, and international transfer to third parties.
